Health is obviously the most important thing in our life. With a healthy body, we can do our activities properly. A healthy body comes from healthy foods. Therefore, we should cook healthy foods for our family so that they will also have a healthy body. Somehow, most parents find it hard to serve healthy foods that their children like. They don’t know how to cook the healthy food to meet the nutrition required for their children’s body. Smart parents will search for healthy kid’s recipes for their children. Here I will give you a healthy recipe for kids.

I browsed kids recipes in the internet and found Patrick’s Potato Cakes for a healthy menu. It is a simple menu that you can cook with your kids. Involve them in the making of the potato cakes so that they can enjoy the cakes they made. The ingredients for this healthy recipe are 2 cups of mashed potatoes, 1 pinch of salt, ½ pour of all-purpose flour, and 1 tablespoon of butter.

The first step in making the Patrick’s Potato Cakes is to put the potatoes and flour in a bowl. Mix and form them to soft dough. Taste the mixture and add it with salt if needed. If you want to make large potato cakes, you can take 1/3 cup of the mixture and form it into a round in about 1/2 –inch thick. Meanwhile, if you want to make smaller cakes, you can take 3 tablespoons of the dough mixture for each cake and pat them in a thinner shape. The last step is to melt a tablespoon of butter in the bottom of a frying pan over medium heat and fry the cakes on it. Do it until the cakes turn golden brown and crisp at the edges. Repeat the same steps to the remaining cakes, add more butter and serve them hot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
