Pergolas is, the structure of a shady park started back to ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome, and common features in early Renaissance gardens throughout Europe. Their main purpose is to provide shade on walkways, terraces and swimming pool. Previous versions are often built of stone pillars with wooden beams for the roof lattice. 2. Set the gazebo throughout the house, like a canopy. May extend farther in different locations to create interest and a seat at the bottom.
